Who we are
Kattaan is a developing cotton bedding brand, operated as a sole proprietorship under the Kattaan DBA and based in the Bay Area, California. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
Browsing the website
The site does not include advertising pixels. Optional Google Analytics is described below. It does not use a shopping cart or collect payment information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the website when it is hosted there. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Optional website analytics
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, and completed launch signup requests. We load Google’s analytics tag only after acceptance. Declining analytics does not affect the waitlist or other site features. We do not send your signup email address, message contents, or form-field values to Analytics. URL query strings and fragments are excluded from the page address we send; external referrers are reduced to their website origin.
Google may process technical information such as your IP address, device/browser details, page activity, and cookie identifiers. Advertising features, Google signals, and automated enhanced measurement are disabled for this setup. Our configured event-level retention is two months; aggregated reports may be kept longer. Your analytics choice is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. You can change it through “Analytics choices” in the footer. Declining after acceptance stops analytics on this site and removes its Google Analytics cookies from this browser; it does not erase information already received by Google. Analytics cookies are configured to last up to 180 days. Our essential anti-bot protection operates separately.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include. We use that information to respond and manage your inquiry. Messages sent to [email protected] are forwarded by Cloudflare to our Gmail inbox. See Google’s privacy policy. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information.
The launch waitlist
If you choose to join our waitlist, we store your email address, the time you signed up, and a record of your request for a notification when Kattaan products are available to buy. These records are stored privately in our Cloudflare account. We do not ask for your name or mailing address.
We are collecting the waitlist without sending emails at this stage. No confirmation email is sent, and email ownership is not verified. We do not add you simply because you contact us.
When the form is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information to help prevent automated submissions. We do not store your IP address in the waitlist database. Cloudflare may process request and security information under its own policies. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy policy.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your contact details or use them for targeted advertising. Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the waitlist. Gmail handles inquiries you send us. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
We keep waitlist records while preparing the product launch or until you withdraw your request. If we stop pursuing the launch, we will delete the list. We will review whether the list is still needed at least annually. Inquiry records are kept only while needed to handle your request, subject to legal obligations. Provider backup and security retention may differ.
When we are ready to sell products, we may transfer the waitlist to an email service to send the launch notification you requested. We will update this notice to identify that provider before doing so. We will not use this waitlist for unrelated recurring marketing without a separate request from you.
Your requests
You can withdraw your request or ask to access, correct, or delete the contact information you gave us by emailing [email protected]. Please tell us you want to leave the launch waitlist. We may need to verify your request before responding. Any rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.
Children and international processing
This website is intended for adults considering home textiles. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
Changes
We will update this notice when our services or practices change and show the revised effective date here. If we add optional analytics or other collection, we will review the notice and any consent requirements before enabling them.
