It began with what
we wanted at home.

Kattaan began with a personal search.

As I became more mindful of health and the materials around us, I found myself paying closer attention to the fabrics we used every day. When my son was born, that interest became more personal. I wanted to bring natural fibers into his surroundings, starting with cotton bedding.

I expected to find 100% cotton sheets, covers, and duvet covers easily in local stores. Instead, it took more searching than I had imagined. Finding organic cotton options felt harder still.

That frustration stayed with me. I began thinking about the bedding I wished I could find: cotton at its center, a smooth feel, and a small palette inspired by natural hues.

We want our bedding to stay as close to nature as possible. We’re planning simple, basic colors, with more to follow as we find suitable organic, non-synthetic dye options.

Kattaan is the beginning of that idea. We’re exploring fabrics and suppliers, with cotton sateen as a possible starting point. The details are still taking shape, and we’ll share more as they are confirmed.

For now, we’re building a place to learn about cotton bedding and follow the journey toward our first collection.
